FREIGHT RAIL
Horrocks has expanded its services to include rail, bringing aboard industry experts with decades of experience in many sectors of the industry. Our team brings extensive expertise to the full suite of rail work, having executed projects for private rail-served industries and public agencies, in coordination with Class 1 and shortline railroads throughout the country. Our engineers are experienced in developing railroad track and terminals, obtaining railroad agreements and delivering solutions for vital connections to keep freight – and people – moving.
Horrocks is one of only eight consultants in the nation to be authorized by Union Pacific Railroad to submit private industry track designs, or review them for others. Building on a legacy of more than 100 years, our rail team has cultivated important relationships with both public and private entities, developing a thorough understanding of design in a wide range of rail sectors.
