Horrocks 2024 Year in Review

As we settle into the new year, Horrocks takes the opportunity to look back on the successes and changes that we experienced in 2024.

Building Stronger Teams and Services

Last year, our team grew to include more than 950 employees, welcoming 70 new team members through our acquisition of CRS Engineering & Surveying. Through the acquisition, we also added three new Utah offices, located in Taylorsville, Logan, and Vernal.

The addition of CRS also expanded our service offerings to include freight rail. Now, as one of only eight consultants in the nation, Horrocks is authorized by Union Pacific Railroad to submit private industry track designs or review them for others.

Collaborating on New Opportunities

Throughout 2024, our teams had numerous opportunities to collaborate internally and with new partner firms. One example is our recent work with Waggoner Engineering on broadband and telecommunication projects in Mississippi.

Embodying Our Core Value of Service

One of our company values or "IQUES" is service, and in 2024 we focused on giving back. Throughout the year, our offices supported various causes, including the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s “Out of the Darkness” Walks, back-to-school drives for local elementary students in need, and Adopt-A-Highway sponsorships. During the holiday season, each office selected local charities to support, contributing to a total of 20 organizations across the company.

We are grateful for the experiences and growth of the past year and excited for the opportunities the new year brings. We could not have done it alone and express our gratitude for our staff, clients, and partners who have empowered us to grow and thrive. We look forward to many new projects and opportunities to serve our clients and communities in 2025 because what we do matters.
